I am a fudanshi gooner. I say this partially as a joke but not really as I read too much yaoi to not be considered one. I don’t think there’s a lot of 'em tbh. Maybe more than before, probably due to the fujo -> tmasc pipeline. Anyway, I like yaoi alot. Not as much as I like yuri, which idk if anything can compare to that tbh. Not much of a normal romance reader though, kinda boring. If there’s no toxic yuri or ukes getting kicked I don’t want it.

I don’t remember how I got into it. Probably some fluff bl like classmates or something. I definitely got into it wayyy before yuri. Maybe 2019?? That seems to be where a lot of my obsessions start. Then the 2020 Killing Stalking hype happened. I don’t think Ks is yaoi at all, but most people around that time treated it as such. Then I watched Yarichan and it truly opened the gates of yaoi heaven. I think the manga for it is fine, maybe slow burny. I really like Yaguchi. I totally have a thing with up beat on the surface character in Yaoi. I love you Makoto Mita.

Anyway, for a while I was consuming it casually, not really diving into it. Then I got into yuri. That’s probably the first time I dove into a genre like I did. I mean I read 200+ within a couple months. Eventually it led me to a thing called Visual Novels. Specifically Kindred Spirits on the Roof. Visual Novels are literally the only time I consume het shit. I’m a gooner, kusoge calls to me.

Since I’m an extremely online person I ofc dove into the Vn community. That place is very interesting to say the least. Well there's a yaoi subsect of it, kinda large too. Or at least it seems large because most of the fujos are into them. Anyway, I ran into a silly company called Nitro+ Citral. This is where the master class shit comes from. I found them through oomf mass posting about Togainu no Chi. Eventually she convinced me to get(pirate) it and I played it. Peak fiction. This started my real deep dive into Yaoi.

I ended up reading so much of it omg. This happened two summers ago so I had wayyy too much time to do this shit. Now most of my friends are freaky ass fujos that keep sending me gay porn.
