King of fighter started in 94' with King of Fighter 94 for the Neo Geo. Kof 94' to Kof 11. In 2005 they switch to Atomis Wave which is stil used for all of there arcade realeases today. The games started getting releases onto home console starting with the Neo Geo, the home version of MVS
